Band plays the Missouri Waltz and God Save the King

FULTON, Mo., March 5, 1946 (UPI) - Winston Churchill, descendant of the Dukes of Marlborough, seemed so much at home in the rural Missouri setting here today that he might have been born in it.

Before he spoke, a four-piece band from a nearby military academy alternated between the Missouri Waltz and God Save the King.

Churchill and the President had lunch in the home of Franc McCluer, president of Westminster College - country cured ham and chicken. Both had naps afterward in shade-drawn guest bedrooms before the ceremonies.
