263-Year-Old Bible for Roosevelt oath

HYDE PARK, N.Y., Feb. 27, 1933 (UP) - Franklin Delano Roosevelt will take the oath of office on the old tattered Dutch Bible that has been in the possession of his family since 1670, he revealed today.

For generations the Bible was used to chronicle the births, marriages and deaths in the Roosevelt family. It was packed for shipment to Washington today.
