Molasses casks cause explosion

BOSTON -- Ten persons were killed and fifty injured when a truck load of molasses casks exploded at a plant here today.

The tracks of the elevated railway which run in front of the plant, were damaged.

Identification of the dead was impossible because all of the bodies were covered with molasses.

It is believed the casks, which had been loaded on a truck, fermented and caused the explosion.
