U.S. to deport alien Reds advocating anarchy
WASHINGTON, Jan. 10, 1919 (UP)-The Department of Labor through the Bureau of immigration is reinforcing the anti-Bolshevik campaign of the Department of Justice. A drastic order issued by Immigration Commissioner Caminetti at the request of Secretary of Labor Wilson, is being vigorously carried out, Caminetti said.

HOBOKEN, N.J., Feb. 11, 1919 (UP) -- The 54 "undesirables" -- Reds, Bolsheviki agitators and I.W.W.'s -- sent here from Seattle and other western cities for deportation, arrive here, were hurried aboard a tug and started for Ellis Island today.
