Some smokers are swapping tobacco cigarettes for an electronic version, which runs on battery power and turns liquid nicotine into vapor. Many e-cigarette users maintain the device has helped them cut back on a habit they've never been able to kick, but the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns the product could be hazardous to a user's health.
