Now playing: Earth Day: Thousands flock to D.C. to celebrate
The Flaming Lips, Moe and Los Lobos performed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for Earth Day on Sunday, April 19. Thousands came to hear the bands play and take part in various activities that showcased ways to protect the environment. The theme of this year's event was Green Generation, and the on-going campaign calls for renewable energy, green jobs and a new green economy.
