Grace is a vibrant 11-year-old, but she suffers from cerebral palsy among other conditions. She has a variety of challenges that inhibit her to perform like her peers at school and thrive at home. Unfortunately, Grace's mom doesn't have the financial resources or legal knowledge on how to assist Grace. So Grace's pediatrician teamed up with an attorney to form a legal-medical partnership and get Grace what she needs. Through a non-profit, Washington, D.C.-based organization that helps remove legal barriers for children and their families, Grace is now succeeding.
