Zhou Shengxian (Chinese: 周生贤; born 1949) is the first and current Minister of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China. Zhou was born in Wuzhong, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1972, and is a senior economist. He was an alternate member of the 16th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and is currently a full member of the 17th Central Committee.
