BEIJING, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- The seemingly robotic right arm of Yukiko Ueno gave Japan a shocking 3-1 win over the United States Thursday as well as the Olympic gold medal in softball.
BEIJING, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- A three-run home run by Crystl Bustos in the ninth inning Wednesday gave the United States a 4-1 win over Japan in the Olympic softball semifinals.
ATHENS, Greece, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Cat Osterman struck out 10 batters and Crystl Bustos homered Friday as the U.S. Olympic softball team finished group play with 3-0 win over Taiwan.
