Wayne Primeau (born June 4, 1976 in Scarborough, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League (NHL). He is the younger brother of Keith Primeau.
Wayne Primeau was a 1st round draft pick of the Owen Sound Platers (OHL) and played with the Platers for 3 years from 1992–1995.
Wayne Primeau was drafted 17th overall in 1994 by the Buffalo Sabres where he scored his first NHL goal against Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils. He was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2000 and was then traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins on February 1, 2001.
