Victoria A. Roberts (born 1951) is a United States federal judge.
Roberts was born in Detroit, Michigan. She received a B.A. from University of Michigan in 1973. She received a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 1977. She was a Research attorney of Michigan Court of Appeals from 1976 to 1977. She was a Legal research & writing teaching fellow, Detroit College of Law, Michigan State from 1977 to 1978. She was in private practice of law in Michigan from 1977 to 1985. She was an Assistant U.S. attorney of Eastern District of Michigan from 1985 to 1988. She was in private practice of law in Detroit, MI from 1988 to 1998. She was a General counsel, Mayor-Elect Dennis Archer Transition Team from 1993 to 1994.
Roberts was a federal judge to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Roberts was nominated by President Bill Clinton on July 31, 1997, to a seat vacated by George LaPlata. She was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate on June 26, 1998, and received commission on June 29, 1998.
