Saddam's former VP hanged in Iraq

BAGHDAD, March 19 (UPI) -- Saddam Hussein's former vice president Taha Yassin Ramadan was executed before dawn Tuesday for crimes against humanity. Sky News reported that Ramadan was hanged for his role in the deaths of 148 Shiites in the town of Dujail, Iraq, in the 1980s.
