Stephen Weiss (born in Toronto, Ontario but raised in Markham, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and an alternate captain currently playing for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Weiss was drafted 4th overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Weiss has played 401 career NHL games, scoring 75 goals and 149 assists for 224 points. Weiss played his junior career with the Plymouth Whalers and recorded statistics that impressed scouts and made him one of the highest selections in the North American Central Scouting Report.
