The consequences of postponing the provincial elections weigh heavy on the minds of the Iraqi people. On the one hand, Iraqis lost confidence in their representatives and the latter's ability to reach a consensus on points of disputes. On the other hand, they became aware of the politicians' personal agendas of dividing the country to drive people's attention away from matters such as corruption.
