Robert Williams (September 15, 1897 — November 3, 1931) was an American film actor.

Born in Morgantown, North Carolina, Williams appeared in his first film The Vengeance of Winona, in 1914. He appeared in five films before landing his first, and last, leading role in the 1931 Frank Capra film Platinum Blonde, opposite Jean Harlow. Four days after the premiere of Platinum Blonde, Williams died of a ruptured appendix at the age of 34. He is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
