Richard Joseph Sullivan (born 1964) is a judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Nominated by President George W. Bush on February 15, 2007 to fill the seat of the retired Judge Michael B. Mukasey, Sullivan was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on June 28, 2007, and received his commission on August 1, 2007.

Judge Sullivan is a graduate of Chaminade High School (1982), the College of William and Mary (B.A., 1986) and of Yale Law School (J.D., 1990). Judge Sullivan clerked for Circuit Judge David M. Ebel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
