BRUSSELS, April 3 (UPI) -- The European Union has given its approval to Kosovo's new constitution, saying it guarantees "full respect of individual and community rights."

PRISTINA, Kosovo, March 3 (UPI) -- A top EU official Monday discounted the possibility of Serbs gaining any sort of autonomy in newly independent Kosovo.

BRUSSELS, Feb. 29 (UPI) -- Is Europe divided over Kosovo or not? Most people would not even stop to think of this. Of course Europe's divided. While France and Germany have recognized Kosovo's independence, other EU countries like Spain, Romania and Cyprus have held back. The Scandinavians took the plunge, but only hesitantly. The headlines wrote themselves. "European disunity" blared the newspapers. "What consequences will the divide have?" asked the concerned-looking anchormen.

BERLIN, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- As Europe remains divided on the recognition of Kosovo, violence has flared up in the former Serbian province.

PRISTINA, Kosovo, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- NATO closed the Kosovar-Serbian border Wednesday as an EU representative arrived in newly independent Kosovo to help establish administrative bodies.
