Peter Scolari (born September 12, 1955) is an American television, film and stage actor best known for his roles in the television shows Newhart, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, and Bosom Buddies.

Scolari's first major role was opposite Tom Hanks on the sitcom Bosom Buddies. Additional television credits include Hotel, The Love Boat, The Twilight Zone, Baby Makes Five, Family Ties, Nurses, Empty Nest, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Dave's World, The Drew Carey Show, From the Earth to the Moon, The Nanny, Touched by an Angel, Ally McBeal, Reba, The King of Queens, ER, The West Wing, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, What I Like About You, and The Ultimate Christmas Present. He also appeared in the Disney original movie Perfect Harmony.

He co-starred in the 1984 comedy The Rosebud Beach Hotel and played the "Lonely Boy" in The Polar Express.
