Peter Chiarelli (born August 5, 1964) is the current general manager of the Boston Bruins. He was hired on May 26, 2006. He was signed to a four-year contract. He previously worked as an assistant general manager for the Ottawa Senators over the last two years, including the Lockout season. The Senators were given a conditional draft pick for acquiring Chiarelli.

He played for Harvard University between 1983 and 1987, serving as the captain of the team. He later played for the British Hockey League Nottingham Panthers.

Prior to becoming an NHL executive, Chiarelli was a player agent before joining the Senators in 1999. He was also an attorney in private practice in Ottawa.
