Suspect arrested in California abduction case
SDP2002022502-25 FEBRUARY 2002 - SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, USA: San Diego District Attorney Paul Pfingst announced during a news conference on Feb. 25, 2002, in San Diego, Calif., that David Westerfield would be will charged with the murder Danielle van Dam. The 7 year old girl has been missing from her Sabre Springs home for over three weeks. Although Danielle van Dam has not been found, District Attorney Paul Pfingst said "I must conclude that Danielle van Dam is no longer living and was killed by her abductor.''
