Nolan Smith (born July 25, 1988), is a junior guard for the Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team. Before coming to Duke, Nolan played for Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. At Oak Hill, he played alongside current Miami Heat forward, Michael Beasley. Smith earned McDonald's All-America honors as a high school senior in 2007. His career high at Duke is 24 points in a win over Charlotte in 2009. Beginning his sophomore year, he was named the starter at point guard for the Blue Devils, effectively making three-year starter (and team tri-captain) Greg Paulus a reserve.

Smith is the son of the late Derek Smith, a former forward of NBA and University of Louisville fame.
