WAS98070903 - 30 JULY 1999 - COLUMBIA, MARYLAND, USA: Linda Tripp was indicted July 30 by a Maryland jury for illegally taping a phone call with Monica Lewinsky and for disclosing that information to a news magazine in 1998. Tripp made her fourth appearance before the Grand Jury at the E. Barrett Prettyman United States Court House, July 9, 1998, present testimony before the Grand Jury investigating Monica Lewinsky's alledged afair with President Clinton.
