Michael August Timlin (pronounced /ˈtɪmlɪn/) (born March 10, 1966, in Midland, Texas) is a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who is currently a free agent.

Timlin graduated from Midland High School in Midland, Texas. He then attended and pitched at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta.

A veteran setup pitcher, Timlin has a good command of his 93 MPH fastball. He also throws a slider and a sinker that have a downward break, inducing a significant number of ground balls.
