Michael Lawrence "Mike" Slive (born July 26, 1940) is the current commissioner of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), an American college athletics association. As part of his role as the SEC Commissioner, he served as the coordinator of the Bowl Championship Series for the 2006 and 2007 regular seasons. He was a member of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee through September 2009 and served as the chairman of the committee for the 2008–09 academic year.

Slive became the seventh commissioner of the SEC on July 1, 2002. He previously was the first commissioner of Conference USA from 1995 to 2002, and the first commissioner of the Great Midwest Conference upon its founding in 1991.

Slive's contract with the Southeastern Conference has been extended through July 31, 2012, announced on March 6, 2009.
