Michael Young is an American actor and television host.
He has a 25-year entertainment career encompassing all areas of production. A TV Emmy Award winner (recognized for ABC's Kids Are People Too!, ESPN Sports, Young Talent Time and CBS' Miss Teen USA) he was also part of the launch teams at CNBC, and The Disney Channel. Michael began his career at QUBE, the world's first interactive TV network, created by Warner Communications, where his show won cable TV's first ACE award for entertainment series. He made a cameo as a celebrity guest on the June 30-July 4, 1986 week of Super Password, helping win $50,000 for his contestant partner on July 4, 1986.
Michael was born March 8, 1952 in Montgomery, Alabama. His father was a career Air Force Officer and Michael immediately moved to Tokyo, Japan. His elementary education was in Texas, Colorado, Paris France, and Washington DC. He attended the International School Bangkok until 1969, his Junior year. He graduated from Wagner High School at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. He attended Auburn University and received a BA in Pre-Law Political Science. He was member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, and Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.
