MEDICAL HOLD CONDITIONS AT FORT KNOX TO GO WITH STORY BY MARK BENJAMIN

The paint peels off the wood of a world war two era barrack where soldiers on medical hold were originally placed on their arrival at Fort Knox in Kentucky. These soldiers were later moved to what the Army says are better living conditions. One of the barrack's roof collapsed two days after soldiers were moved out. Many veterans of the war in Iraq have complained that they have not received proper or timely medical treatment while there. .(UPI/Michael Kleinfeld)
