Marc Elias is the lead attorney for the 2008 Al Franken for Senate campaign in Minnesota. Elias is a partner at the law firm Perkins Coie whose clients include the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and numerous U.S. Senators, Representatives, and Governors and their campaigns.

In 2004, Elias was General Counsel for the Kerry-Edwards presidential campaign. He was also General Counsel for Chris Dodd's short-lived 2008 presidential campaign.
