Luke Anthony Hochevar (pronounced /hoʊˈtʃeɪvər/; born September 15, 1983, in Denver, Colorado) is a Major League Baseball starting pitcher for the Kansas City Royals organization. He is an alumnus of the University of Tennessee. His name is of Slovenian origin.

He throws and bats right-handed.

While attending Fowler High School (Fowler, Colorado), he was the 2A Player of the Year (senior year). During his senior year, he was also a member of the National Honor Society, and he was crowned Prom King.
