Louis Murphy (born May 11, 1987 in St. Petersburg, Florida) is a wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders. Murphy played at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was ranked as the 37th best wide receiver by Rivals.com in 2005. Murphy received a scholarship to the University of Florida where he did not play much during his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Murphy played high school at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he was a highly recruited Wide Receiver. He has earned the honor of being an Eagle Scout. He chose to go to Florida over other top Division 1 Schools
