ST. LOUIS CARDINALS MANAGER TONY LA RUSSA ARRESTED
St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa was arrested by the Jupiter Flordia Police Department for suspicion of driving under the influence, in Jupiter, Flordia on March 22, 2007. Officials say an officer noticed a vehicle stopped at a traffic light, not moving after several cycles. The officer knocked on the window to find La Russa slumped over the steering wheel. La Russa submitted to a breath test, revealing a blood alcohol level of .093. The legal level in Flordia is .008. La Russa was jailed for eight hours before paying a $250 bond.
