Wiki

Josh Shipp (born 23 January 1981 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American motivational speaker, television host, and author focusing on youth and college-aged audiences. Shipp also writes an advice column under the name 'Hey Josh'. Josh began speaking professionally at age 17 and thus is noted as being one of the youngest speakers ever accepted into the National Speakers Association. Starting in 2005, he was selected as a spokesperson for National Foster Care Month. On November 1, 2006 he launched HeyJosh.tv, a sort of "Dear Abby" video podcast for teens. His current projects include an advice column for CosmoGIRL! and a major book release. He made an exclusive appearance at the Rabobank Convention Center in Bakersfield, CA. In 2008, Josh made an appearance on TRL.

At many of his speaking events, Shipp references Wikipedia. He jokes to his audience that if they do not like him, they could go home and edit his Wikipedia article to read that he was an "eighty-five-year-old Japanese woman."

Josh is currently speaking at the American Marketing Association Collegiate Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. He spoke and motivated everyone attending.
