Dr. John Kline is a retired Harlem Globetrotter (1953–1959) who founded the Black Legends of Professional Basketball in 1996.

Before playing for the Globetrotters, Kline played at Wayne State University during the 1950s. Still active, Kline currently plays in an over-70 basketball league.
