LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Brandon Knight put in 23 points and Terrance Jones added 18 Tuesday and No. 11 Kentucky pounded Boston University 91-57.

COL BKB: Villanova 82, Boston U. 66

VILLANOVA, Pa., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Antonio Pena scored 17 points and No. 7 Villanova made 55 percent of its shots from the field Wednesday in downing Boston University 82-66.

COL BKB: Georgia Tech 85, Boston U. 67

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Zachery Peacock had 22 points for No.19 Georgia Tech, which took charge in the second half Sunday and beat Boston University 85-67 in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

COL BKB: Notre Dame 74, Boston U. 67

SOUTH BEND, Ind., Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Luke Harangody had 23 points, 15 rebounds and five assists Saturday to pace 13th-ranked Notre Dame to a 74-67 win over Boston University.

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Ronald Ramon led a balanced Pittsburgh offense Tuesday, scoring 15 points as the 11th-ranked Panthers routed Boston University 80-53.

Berkshire deals for Fruit of the Loom

OMAHA, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Berkshire Hathaway Inc. has reached a deal with creditors of Fruit of the Loom Inc. to buy the underwear and apparel maker out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy for more than $830 million, the companies announced late Thursday in a joint statement.

John Macfarlane "Dutch" Holland (20 December 1926 – 9 June 1990) was a New Zealand athlete who competed mainly in hurdles events. His greatest international success was in the 400 metre/440 yards hurdles.

He competed for New Zealand in the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, England and the 1952 Summer Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland in the 400 metre hurdles, winning the bronze medal in the latter. He also competed at the 1950 British Empire Games held at Auckland, New Zealand where he won the silver medal in the 440 yards hurdles, and a bronze medal as a member of the New Zealand 4 x 400 yards relay team with Dave Batten, Derek Steward and Jack Sutherland.

He was New Zealand champion and record-holder for all three hurdles disciplines: 120 yards high hurdles, 220 yards low hurdles, and 440 yards intermediate hurdles.
