Whale deaths
VAN2000031910 - 19 MARCH 2000 - VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA: Finishing his necropsy, March 19, John Ford, Head of Marine Mammal Research at the Vancouver Aquarium talks to onlookers after calling the Coast Gaurd to send in a hover craft on high tide to tow the Orca (Killer Whale) carcass out to the mud flats for burial. The necropsy samples of the recently dead whale which washed up over the weekend on Boundary Bay's Centennial Beach just south of Vancouver will be sent to a health lab for analysis.
