ST. LOUIS STATE REPRESENATIVE INDICTED IN BANK FRAUD SCHEME
Democratic state represenative John Bowman of St. Louis has been indicted with 18 others in a bank fraud scheme it reported by the U.S. attorney in St. Louis on January 29, 2007. The indictment says Bowman was recruited by a former vice president from Bank of America to submit false applications for small business credit cards. Bowman is accused of obtaining a cash advance using the fradulent credit line and using the credit card to obtain more than $1000 in items. (UPI Photo/Missouri House of Rep.)
