LOUIS, MISSOURI, USA: St. Louis Blues' head coach Joel Quenneville is all smiles as he talks with reporters after it was announced that his contract has been extended through 2003-2004 season, September 19. Quenneville, 42, was awarded the Jack Adams Trophy (coach of the year) in June after he guided the Blues to a Presidents' Trophy and Central Division Championship last season.Since being named head coach on January 6, 1997 he has posted a 151-96-39 career mark, which ranks second among active coaches in winning percentage. rw/bg/Bill Greenblatt UPI
