Rwake is a Southern Doom metal/Sludge metal band from Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, that began as a jamming four-piece in 1996. The band was originally called Wake. The first Wake show was March 15th 1997 in Batesville, Arkansas at the Landers Theater.

They began touring in Oct. 2001, and have self-released two recordings, Xenoglossalgia: The Last Stage of Awareness, and, Absence Due to Projection. Since then 3 more releases have been Hell is a Door to the Sun, If You Walk Before You Crawl, You Crawl Before You Die and Voices Of Omens.

The band signed with Relapse Records in January 2006, and released "Voices Of Omens" in February of 2007. Since their Relapse debut, Rwake has maintained a busy touring schedule in support of Voices Of Omens.
