Jay Roach (born June 14, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an Emmy Award-winning American film director and producer, best known for directing the Austin Powers films and Meet the Parents.

Roach graduated in 1975 from Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, then received his BA degree from Stanford University in Economics. He earned an MFA in film production from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 1986.

He is married to Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles and has two sons.
