Jarrod Scott Saltalamacchia (born May 2, 1985, in West Palm Beach, Florida), nicknamed "Salty," is an American professional baseball catcher with the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball.

His last name is tied for the longest in Major League Baseball history, with William Van Landingham.

Saltalamacchia was drafted out of Royal Palm Beach High School in the first round of the 2003 Major League Baseball Draft by the Atlanta Braves.
