House acts to stop mandatory arbitration in Washington

Attorney Todd Kelly (R) speaks to his client Jamie Leigh Jones, a former Halliburton/KBR employee who alleges she was drugged and raped by fellow contractors while working in Iraq, at a press conference on legislation to end mandatory arbitration in employee contracts in Washington on December 19, 2007. Jones, who has been trying to take Halliburton/KBR to trial for two years but has been unsuccessful because of the arbitration agreement she signed is now turning to Congress for help to overturn the agreement she says she unknowingly signed.
