Florida man held in art thefts, forgeries

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Authorities in Los Angeles said they arrested a Florida man for allegedly selling forged and stolen art for more than $2 million.

NEW YORK, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- One of Life Magazines first female photographers, Martha Holmes, who is known for her shots of celebrities, has died in New York of natural causes. She was 83.
