Howard Wolfson was Communications Director for Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign and is currently a Fox News contributor and a spokesman for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Wolfson is also the author of the music and politics blog Gotham Acme. On September 8, 2008, The New Republic's website introduced Wolfson's new blog on its site, called "The Flack."
