Gregory Kent Johnson is an American football player and coach, playing professionally for the Miami Dolphins as well as coaching and playing at the collegiate level.

Johnson played Offensive Tackle at for the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman, Oklahoma from 1983 to 1987 under coach Barry Switzer. In 1987, at 305 pounds he was awarded all-conference in the Big Eight.

Johnson went on to professionally for the Miami Dolphins in the 1988 season, being picked in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. At Miami, he was moved to tight end and lowered his weight to 295 pounds to become more agile.
