Gérard Mestrallet (born 1 April 1949, in Paris) is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of GDF Suez.

Gérard Mestrallet was born on 1 April 1949. He graduated from the Institut d'études politiques de Toulouse, Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration.

In 1984, he started working for Suez. He has been its Chairman and CEO since 2001.
