Gerald Hayes (born October 10, 1980 in Paterson, New Jersey) is a linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. In 2005, he had to sit out his third season after he injured his knee in training camp.

Gerald Hayes attended elementary school in PS 27, a school in Paterson,NJ. Hayes played his high school football at Passaic County Technical Institute. He attended college at the University of Pittsburgh.

On April 18, 2006, he signed a one-year qualifying offer on playing his 4th season with the Cardinals.
