Fredrik Sjöström (born May 6, 1983) is a Swedish professional ice hockey winger, currently playing for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Sjöström is a big but speedy forward who plays an intense physical game. He produced a lot of points in his junior years but at the senior level he has not had the same success. He started his elite career playing for Västra Frölunda HC in Elitserien and after being drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft with their first pick, eleventh overall, he went overseas and played for the Calgary Hitmen in the Western Hockey League (WHL). It was not until the 2003–04 NHL season that Sjöström got to play with the Coyotes scoring 13 points in 57 games in his first NHL season.

On July 13, 2006, Sjöström signed a new deal with the Coyotes. The contract is a one-way contract worth $1.5 million over two years.
