The Fred W. Hooper Handicap is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually at Calder Race Course in Miami Gardens, Florida. A Grade III event, it is open to horses age three and older and is contested on dirt at a distance of 1 1/8 miles (9 furlongs). Currently raced in mid December, it offers a purse of $100,000.

Inaugurated in 1985 as the Tropical Park Handicap, it was run under that name again in 1986, and from 1988 through 1996. In 1987 it was called the Tropical Park Budweiser Breeders' Cup Handicap. In 1997, the race was renamed in honor of the prominent Florida Thoroughbred owner/breeder, Fred W. Hooper.

Creme Fraiche won this race in January 1988 in track record time and came back to win it again in December.
