CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE RELEASES BUDGET OUTLOOK

Congressional Budget Office Director Douglas Holtz-Eakin discusses the 2005 budget and overall budget outlook during a news conference on Capitol Hill in Washington on Jan. 25, 2005. Holtz-Eakin said the current outlook suggests decreasing budget deficits for the next several years, but that Congressional legislation could change the underlying assumptions which makes it very difficult to predict what will happen even a year or two from now.
