LEXINGTON, Mass., July 30 (UPI) -- On August 18, asteroid 2002 NY40 will pass within about 300,000 miles of Earth, close enough to be seen through binoculars, but on a course so well-plotted astronomers said the wandering space rock has no chance of hitting our planet this time.
