David Baerwald was born on July 11, 1960 in Oxford, Ohio and is an American singer-songwriter, composer, and musician. He has been married to Sarah Reinhardt and has one son, Beker Baerwald. He was also a member of the Tuesday Night Music Club which helped launch the career of Sheryl Crow.

His songs can be found on 27 million albums sold in the US and Europe.
